UK - Wildfire Weeds Author Reading with Mori Natura

WILDFIRE WEEDS
Reading & Discussion with Local Author Mori Natura

Thursday, January 23rd
5:30-6:30 pm

Join us at the Ukiah Library on Thursday, January 23rd, from 5:30-6:30 pm, for a reading, and book signing with local author of Wildfire Weeds, Mori Natura!

Wildfire Weeds delivers a cli-fi (climate fiction) thriller set amidst the rootedness of the prose of a place. Combining the hardships of economic loss and environmental collapse, Mori Natura delivers a novel that peers through the lens of Northern California's homesteaders with fierce acuity. She explores the themes of wildfire ecology, sustainability, and climate change within the setting of a pot farm in Northern California. Future novels will further explore cli-fi themes, while delivering whimsical delights, hopeful solutions, and optimistic resolutions.

Light refreshments provided. For more information – please contact the Ukiah Library: 463-4490.
