Library Book Clubs
Fort Bragg Library is Hosting Monthly Book Clubs for Adults
Fort Bragg Library sponsors two book clubs each month which are always open to new members who like to "talk books!" The Adult Book Group meets in the library community room on the last Thursday of each month, reading a variety of genres. The current meeting time is 2-3 p.m.
Additionally, a new monthly book club started in January, 2019. This Brew Pub Book Club currently meets at Overtime Brewing (190 E. Elm St in Fort Bragg) on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with upcoming books to be determined at the meeting. As an off-site club, it meets from 7-8 p.m. at the pub.
The Brew Pub Book Club discusses one book at each meeting with copies borrowed from our three-county network of libraries. The goal is a lively discussion, respectful of each other's views. It's best to have read or started the book because the discussion covers the entire book, and attendees should be prepared for spoilers. Friends of the Fort Bragg Library sponsor snacks at both events. Guests are responsible for purchasing their own beverages at the Brew Pub Book Club.
