hand holding new library card Are you are a professional educator, home educator, paraprofessional or work for an institution and would like to check out items from the Library for your student(s) or business? Mendocino County Library is now offering the Educator Library Card and Agency Library Card. The goal of the Educator Card is to provide teachers access to materials that support their students, while the goal of the Agency Card is to provide government and private agencies materials that support users of their institutions.

The Educator and Agency Cards benefits include the ability to borrow up to 50 items at a time for use for up to six weeks (42 days). These cards also allow cardholders the ability to place up to 30 items on hold, and the Library will forgive charges for the loss of or damage of up to four items per year for Agency and Educator Cards. Certain formats are excluded (video games and streaming media) and some loan periods may not be extended. Requests, renewals, and all other policies and restrictions apply - for more information see our FAQ page.
If you or your institution would like to apply for either of these cards, please review the application requirements for the Educator Library Card and Agency Library Card and apply at your local library branch.
