About the Bookmobile
Welcome to the Mendocino County Bookmobile - a fully functional library branch that comes to you!
- The Bookmobile creates community wherever it goes - come browse our collection and meet your neighbors
- Check-out, renew, return, or request materials from any public library in Mendocino, Lake, or Sonoma Counties
- Up-to-date collections include: fiction, non-fiction, mysteries, sci-fi and fantasy, children’s, young adult, audiobooks, DVDs, and music CDs

- For all people throughout Mendocino County for their recreational and lifelong learning needs
- Bookmobile carries a collection of over 4,000 items – continually updated
- Request items online at Find @ the Library and pick–up holds at your stop
- Makes many stops serving 27 communities, various schools, and nursing homes

School Stops
In August of 2023 the Bookmobile schedule will adjust to accommodate school stops. Please check the schedule or contact Bookmobile staff for the updated stops and service times.
Bookmobile Circulation
Due to the 2 week rotating Bookmobile schedule all items:
- Will check out for 28 days
- Will be on hold for 14 days
