Monthly Book Discussions (Offsite, In-Person)

Thursday, September 24, from 5:30 - 7 PM

Adults 21 and over are invited to join our monthly book club, Wines & Spines. We will meet at The Beehive restaurant in downtown Ukiah on the last Thursday evening of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m., except for holidays when we will meet on the 3rd Thursday.

Studies show reading for pleasure reduces anxiety and increases our capacity for compassion. Join us for the long-awaited return of this popular book club for monthly discussions on thought provoking books through a social justice lens. We will read novels and memoirs including “All Fours” by Miranda July, “Better Living through Birding” by Christian Cooper, and “The Night Watchman” by Louise Erdrich.

Pláticas mensuales sobre libros (en persona y fuera de la biblioteca)

Los adultos mayores de 21 años están invitados a unirse a nuestro club de lectura mensual "Vinos y Espinas". Nos reuniremos en el restaurante The Beehive, en el centro de Ukiah, el último jueves de cada mes, de 5:30-7 p.m, excepto los días festivos, que nos reuniremos el tercer jueves.

Los estudios equestrian que leer por placer reduce la ansiedad y aumenta nuestra capacidad de compasión. Únase a nosotros para el esperado regreso de este popular club de lectura para debates mensuales sobre libros que invitan a la reflexión desde una perspectiva de justicia social.
